October, November and December are the best months to go out
for outing and travel with your family and friends. The weather in these months
is very pleasant which makes the travel experience free from fatigue due to heat.
So if you are planning your vacations in the upcoming months and have not been
able to decide the best places, then go through this blog post which cites the
top places in India to visit in next three months.
Dharamshala and Mcleodganj
Both, Dharamshala and Mcleodganj are the places which one
should not miss to visit. You can experience pleasant weather and breathtaking
scenery. If you want to experience snowfall in Dharamshala, late December and January
is the best time to visit.
Kullu Manali
Kullu and Manali is one of the most popular holiday
destinations in India. In India, most of the weddings take place in winters
from October to February, and due to this fact Manali is the top most popular
honeymoon destinations in India. In December and January you can experience the
snowfall. In Manali you can also do adventure activities and take part in snow
sports.
Rajasthan
Visiting Rajasthan in winters is the best time. Being
located in North India, Rajasthan experiences cold climate during November and December. If you are fond of historic and traditional places,
Rajasthan is the perfect place to visit the winters of 2015. You can visit
different forts, palaces, and temples in Rajasthan along with folk dances and
camel rides. Jodhpur and Jaisalmer are delightful cities which you must visit
to see how beautiful places India has.
Goa
Goa is an ultimate place to visit during winters. In fact,
it is considered to be the best time to visit Goa. You can have night parties
with crazy crowd. December month is the most enthralling time due to Christmas
and New Year. However, during this time, you might have to pay extra for accommodation
and food. So, it is good to make bookings in advance.
Shillong
When it comes to hill stations, mostly people consider Shimla,
Manali, Dharamshala etc. Shillong is another hill station where you will not
only get beautiful hills, but various adventure sports, an artificial lake, a
floating restaurant and much more!
Kerala
Some people (like me) don’t like to be in cold weather and nuzzle
up all day in a warm blanket. People who want to escape the chilling temperatures
of winters, can visit Kerala which is called a heaven on the earth.
Haflong
Haflong is not an ideal destination for summers, but it is definitely
one of the best places to visit during winters. You must visit hill town of
Haflong which is damn beautiful and very cool in the winters. The Haflong Lake
is another attraction which is filled with waterfalls, streams and greenery. If
you are scenery lover, this is the place meant for you!
Kutch
Kutch is a great place to visit from December to March as The
Government of Gujarat organizes a 3-month festival- Rann Utsav. The weather in Kutch
during winters is very pleasant which makes it a perfect holiday destination.
Ooty (One of my favorites)
Ooty which is located in Tamil Nadu is a hill station at an altitude
of 2,240 metres. This wonderful place is a perfect destination to make your
winter vacations unforgettable. In Ooty you can experience dense forests, huge
tea gardens, mountains and much more!
Shimla
How can we forget the most popular hill station of India. Shimla is the perfect winter holiday destination. Mostly people visit Shimla in December to witness the snowfall. Major attractions are mall road and Shimla church. If you are on 3-4 days trip, you can visit Kufri too which will make your experience amazing.
Every destination is beautiful and has its own beauty. The
decision is choose your winter holiday destination depends on your type of
trip, budget and time. For example, if you are located in North India and
having a limited budget and short time, then it is suggested to choose a
location in north India.
